At Hunter, we’ve always prided ourselves on operating with integrity and excellence. Now, our certification publicises this approach, ensuring that we’re accountable to all stakeholders and our wider community, constantly striving to improve and deliver on our plans and intentions whilst driving change within our supply chain.

Our journey to B Corp

The decision to pursue B Corp certification started in 2023, following years of refining our business practices. With help from the consultancy Business on Purpose, we tackled the rigorous B Impact Assessment (BIA). From governance to environmental sustainability, the process pushed us to think deeply about how we run our business.

We made some tough changes, particularly in tracking environmental impact, but we learned a lot. Involving our team was key – we held a B Corp Day and got everyone to help develop our mission. The result? A more resilient, responsible company that’s focused on making a positive difference. We are proud to have received an overall B Impact Score of 93.5. The qualifying score for B Corp certification is 80, and the median score for ordinary businesses is 50.9.
