Hunter Selection Win Business Fives Bristol – £350 for Clevedon Foodbank

Business Fives Bristol champions Hunter Selection – Our Hunter Selection football team has made us proud once again, proving that teamwork, determination, and community spirit go hand in hand.

At the recent Business Fives Champions League in Bristol, our squad claimed the league champions title, securing a well-deserved place in the National Final in Birmingham this October.

Star Performers

• Golden Glove: Congratulations to Dan McGreevy from Hunter Service & Sales, who was recognised for his outstanding goalkeeping throughout the tournament.

• Player of the Match: A big well done to Tom Davies from Hunter Engineering & Manufacturing, whose performance on the pitch made a real difference.

  

Business Fives Impact

As part of the event, our victory helped raise £350 (and counting!) for Clevedon Foodbank, supporting their essential work in the community.

Clevedon District Foodbank provides emergency food parcels to people in crisis across Clevedon, Nailsea, and Portishead through a voucher system. Run by local churches and part of the Trussell Trust, it also offers school holiday lunch bags for children who rely on free school meals during term time. The charity depends on donations and volunteers to fight food poverty and build resilience in our local area.

Looking Ahead

With the National Final in Birmingham on the horizon, our team is ready to keep the momentum going. But the real win is knowing that our efforts on the pitch contribute to positive change off it – helping support local families when they need it most.
