Area Sales Engineer

Our client is a globally leading technology company in the CNC industry and their equipment and machinery is highly regarded worldwide. Service and reliability are massively important to our client and is one of the main reasons why they are so successful.

Due to year-on-year growth an exciting opportunity is available for a motivated and reward driven Engineer. You will be an important part of building and maintaining relationships. You will be based from home but required to be flexible and work away if needed.
Role & Responsibilities

As a sales engineer you will be responsible for meeting sales and growth targets whilst delivering excellent service to both new and existing customers. The role will include, but is not limited to:

*Preparing and delivering high-quality quality presentations within the brand to
promote our clients products / services to new clients.
*Attendance and participation in exhibitions and conferences, acting responsible and conscientiously at all times when representing our clients brand.
*Effective negotiating and closing orders in line with agreed monthly/annual sales targets.
*Responding to and managing customer queries on both a technical and commercial level, maintaining good relationships with clients throughout.

Required Skills & Experience

*Engineering and tooling background
*Engineer or technical qualifications
*Excellent communication skills in both telephone and written
*Ability to work independently
*Experienced in the full sales process development, including lead generation through project closing
*Proven track record in a competitive business to business sales environment

Generous Package

Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 OTE: £40,000 – £65,000
*Generous uncapped commission structure
*Fully expensed Company Car
