I am working with a South Wales based business looking to recruit a Business Development Manager to operate in South East England. This role is well suited to a candidate with a background in sales and business development who is looking to grow and develop their career. As part of a wider organisation, this will afford you the opportunity to develop your career into a multitude of different avenues.

Responsibilities

Manage and grow sales within the South East territory, focusing on electrical wholesalers, lighting distributors, contractors, and consultants.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
Identify new business opportunities within the region, securing new accounts and expanding market share.
Meet or exceed sales targets and KPIs, with a strong focus on increasing revenue and profitability for the territory.
Attend site meetings and deliver presentations to contractors, wholesalers, and consultants to promote lighting solutions.

Requirements

Driving License
Experience dealing with electrical wholesalers will be beneficial to applicants.
Outbound sales experience.
Sales and Business Development skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Experience in conducting market research and identifying new business opportunities.
Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
