💰 £50,000 – £55,000

⏰ 38hrs a week

Our client is a global leading manufacturing company, working within the FMCG and automated industries. Due to global growth and the site heavily investing in new machinery they are looking for a CAPEX Project Manager to join their engineering team.

Role & Responsibilities:

Facilitate and deliver change in a fast paced and ever-changing environment,
Identifying short-, medium- and long-term improvements and drive operational improvements
Developing documentation to support the investment requirements
Develop and execute improvements in operational processes that will improve quality and reduce costs
Management of resources, scheduling projects, quoting, tendering, costings, analysis of data and general project admin

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Project management experience, focusing on CAPEX & OPEX
MS Project – Expert skill level
Ideally have worked in project engineering role previously – hands-on/technical background
Commercial awareness – handling multi-million-pound projects
Strong & effective communicator – working across multi-functional teams/departments
Project management qualification is preferred
Understanding of Health & Safety and Quality Management Systems
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a project engineer/manager
Able to develop relationships
Degree qualified in engineering ideally
Financial awareness – costing, tendering, quotations
Dynamic and flexible person – willing to change, compromise with customer demands
