Location: Birmingham
Salary: £18 – £20 (39h weeks)

Hours: 7:00am-4:00pm – early finish on Friday

Roles & Responsibilities

Program, set and operate CNC milling machinery, ensuring components are manufactured accurately and efficiently.
Provide technical support to apprentices and less experienced engineers.
Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, quality and machine performance.
Collaborate with production and leadership teams to ensure delivery targets and operational objectives are achieved.

Requirements

Proven experience programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of Fanuc or Haas controls, G-code programming, tooling, feeds and speeds.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and use a range of inspection and measurement equipment.
Previous experience coaching, mentoring or developing apprentices/junior engineers

Highly Advantageous

Edgecam experience.
Experience in a senior, lead or supervisory-level CNC position.
5+ years of CNC milling programming experience preferred.
