Are you a Controls Design Engineer looking to join a growing and innovative engineering business? This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a well established company near Bournemouth, working on the design and development of bespoke automation and machinery solutions for customers across a range of industries.

You’ll play a key role in delivering control system designs from concept through to commissioning, working with the latest automation technologies and collaborating closely with project, software, and manufacturing teams. The Role:

Design electrical control systems for automated machinery.
Create electrical schematics using AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN, or similar.
Select PLCs, HMIs, drives, motors, sensors, and safety equipment.
Develop PLC and HMI software for machine control.
Ensure compliance with CE/UKCA and relevant industry standards.
Support build, installation, and commissioning activities.
Test, fault-find, and troubleshoot control systems.

What we are looking for:

3 years experience min as controls design engineer
Softwares – open but they use solidworks and will train on this.
Experienced creating wiring diagrams and schematics.
HNC in electrical engineering or similar.
