My client, a global business is looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to bolster their engineering team in Skelmersdale. This opportunity offers excellent scope and long-term technical challenge at a progressive business. The site has experienced large investment in recent years, with state of the art equipment and facilities.

Role Description

PPM & Reactive Maintenance on site machinery
Involved in Engineering Project Work – assisting with continuous improvement
Working with a variety of production equipment in a fast-paced environment
Proactively identify and implement improvements to operational machine and resource efficiencies
To contribute to TPM activities as they relate to own area of responsibility or kaizen projects working cross functionally
Working on specific industrial machinery
Machine installations
Working in a small team of three engineers reporting to a Maintenance Supervisor

Skills and Qualifications

Time Served Apprenticeship Trained Electrical Maintenance experience
Strong Background within Heavy Engineering, Plastic manufacturing desired
Knowledge of electrical systems, PLC’s, motors, wiring
Must be able to work independently and part of a small engineering team
