My client, a growing manufacturer in the area is looking for an experienced E&I Engineer to join the team. This would involve working a range of high precision machinery supplying into a worldwide industry. This business offers lots of specific training and development opportunity.
Role Description
* AutoCAD, ability to create electrical wiring diagrams, single lines, P&IDs
* Writing functional specifications, motor/instrument lists, trip/alarm lists
* Competence/fluency in ATEX directive, interpreting device Ex markings
* Awareness/competence with machinery directive/machinery safety
* Communicating with vendors to specify/procure for projects
* Understanding and conforming to customer URS/project specifications
* Strong organizational/time/project management skills
* Awareness of project scope/identification of “extra to contract” variations/scope creep
Skills and Qualifications
* Food applications experience
* Commissioning experience
* PLC/HMI programming – any brand, micro/mid-range/high end
* Pneumatics experience
* Functional Safety accreditation (TUV)
* CompEx certified, ideally Dust
* Ex i (intrinsic safety) practice and installation
