This is a truly unique role for an Experienced Engineering Manager with a strong background in Industrial Manufacturing. As part of the Senior Leadership team, you will truly have full responsibility for the dynamic engineering department of a flagship facility of a global manufacturer. Role Description

Focus on Health & Safety methods in manufacturing areas, driving improvements and continuously working on best practices
Effective and regular communication with staff and peers to maximise manufacturing efficiency
Supporting direct reports to ensure safe and efficient practices
Implement or developing robust training programs
Oversee apprenticeship programs offering the best training and coaching
Develop methodology to measure engineering performance
Full responsibility for departmental spend on resources (projects, labour, materials, capital equipment)
Real time performance measurements
Overseeing and developing a CMMS to deliver analytics
Ongoing coaching and development of staff for Continuous Improvement

Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 5 Years manufacturing experience within an engineering leadership role
Track record of successfully managing and developing teams and individuals
Experience in developing a robust Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Experience in applying CI / Lean principles in a manufacturing setting
Project Management experience
IOSH: Managing Safely qualification / Occupational Health & Safety qualification (Preferred)
