I’m currently working with an industrial manufacturing company who are looking to expand their UK sites at the moment due to growth in the business. They are looking to bring in an Estimation Engineer to the Glasgow site within the sales department.

Main responsibilities:

Handling any Customer queries
In charge of preparing quotations using ERP system
Handing all contract documentation from enquiries to handing over to the relevant department
Researching equipment selection based on the products they supply for the project at hand – Reviewing technical drawings and specifications to identify this
All contact will customers will be via the phone and over email so needs to be comfortable talking to people

I’m looking to speak with candidates who have worked in a Proposals Engineer or an Estimation Engineer position within an industrial company/ heavy industry.
