Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer – Forklifts/MHE
Location: Yorkshire
Salary: £34,000 – £36,000 + Overtime + Door to door paid travel

We’re recruiting for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a well-established forklift distributer based in Yorkshire, who specialise in supplying a wide range of lithium battery powered (as well as occasionally some old-school diesel and LPG powered) MHE.

This is a varied, field-based position involving servicing and repairs for a range of machinery, ideal for an engineer who enjoys being out on the road and working directly with a variety of clients.

Key Responsibilities

Carry out site visits to complete servicing, repairs and reactive maintenance
Complete all associated documentation, including risk assessments, service reports, and timesheets
Work safely at all times, following company and site Health & Safety procedures

Skills & Experience Required

Proven background as a field service engineer, ideally within a Forklift/MHE/heavy vehicle environment
Mechanically and electrically competent, with strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability
Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
Full UK driving licence required
