Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineers – Specialist Hydraulic equipment

Locations: Southeast England – Based in Slough, Oxford, Reading, Woking, Guildford, Crawley or surrounding areas
Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 per annum + Door to door paid travel
On-Target Earnings (OTE): £45,000+

Are you a skilled Service Technician with a strong electrical or mechanical background? Do you enjoy working on a wide range of equipment and delivering high-quality service? We’re recruiting experienced engineers to join a market-leading manufacturer whose service team is renowned for supporting household-name clients with fault-finding, repairs, maintenance, and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

Provide electrical and mechanical support, prodominantly on dock levellers and specialist loading bay equipment.
Assist with installations when necessary
Participate in an occasional on-call rota and responsibly manage company tools, vehicle, and stock
Promote sales of maintenance services and equipment, including spare parts, and advise sales department of possible sales leads

Requirements

Experience & Qualifications

Experience in field service or other relevant electrical or mechanical engineering.
Strong mechanical or electrical fault-finding skills.
Experience with lifting equipment or similiar (desirable)
Welding experience (desirable)
Valid certifications:
- Electrical qualifications, or relevant experience
- Mechanical qualifications or relevant experience
