Field Service Engineer – Garage Equipment

Location: Home-based – North London, Essex, Wood Green, Southgate, Enfield Town, Chingford, Epping, Surrounding Areas

Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 Basic | OTE: £55,000

Are you a hands-on engineer looking for a stable, Regional field role with high earning potential? We are recruiting for a dedicated PPM Service Engineer to join a specialised team who focus solely on servicing and repairing Garage Equipment.

This role is perfect for someone with experience in Garage Equipment or solid mechanical and basic electrical skills who is eager to learn and willing to travel.

The Role

You will be responsible for the servicing and repair of 2 and 4 post lifts and tyre changers, ensuring safety, functionality, and maintaining great relationships with site managers.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out PPM and repairs on 2‑post lifts, 4‑post lifts and tyre changers across your region
Diagnose mechanical and basic electrical issues, completing safe, compliant repairs.
Maintain strong relationships with site managers and provide clear service updates.

Service & Maintenance – Carry out PPM and repairs on 2‑post lifts, 4‑post lifts and tyre changers across your region.
Fault Finding – Diagnose mechanical and basic electrical issues, completing safe, compliant repairs.
Customer Support – Maintain strong relationships with site managers and provide clear service updates.

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a reliable, hands‑on engineer who takes pride in their work and enjoys working in a regional field-based role. If you have experience with garage equipment or a strong mechanical background with basic electrical knowledge.

* Experience: Previous experience servicing garage equipment such as 2‑post lifts, 4‑post lifts or tyre changers is highly desirable. Engineers with solid mechanical backgrounds and transferable field service experience will also be considered.

* Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude with basic electrical fault-finding skills. Ability to diagnose, service and repair equipment safely and efficiently.

* Mindset: A positive, customer-focused attitude with a willingness to learn, follow procedures, and maintain high health and safety standards.

* Location: Home-based, ideally located in North London, Essex, or surrounding areas such as Wood Green, Southgate, Enfield Town, Chingford or Epping for efficient regional coverage.
