Roles and Responsibilities:

Act as a trusted financial advisor to leaders, supporting them in managing their budgets and understanding real world financial impacts of their decisions.
Identify and implement opportunities to streamline and automate financial reporting and data collection processes.
Lead the finance team to ensure a timely, accurate, and smooth month-end close process.
Lead the annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes across departments and subsidiary businesses.
Prepare and consolidate monthly management accounts and internal financial reporting for the leadership team, including actionable commentary explaining the key drivers.
Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic initiatives such as financial planning for projects and ROI analysis.

Requirements

Qualified Management Accountant (CIMA, ACA or ACCA)
Experience within similar roles in a variety of sectors, and ideally involving employee ownership
Proficient in Information Technology.
Experience of leading people and teams, with the desire to enable individuals’ growth
Experience within the Manufacturing or Engineering sectors
