First line support engineer

1st line IT Support Engineer – Hybrid role – Bristol -20k – 26k
My client is one of the Top 50 Employers in the South West and Top 100 SMEs in the UK. They offer flexible working options and a 35-hour week, with no weekends or shift work required. They have a market leading benefits package too! They are looking for an IT support engineer to join their in-house support team.
What you will be doing:
*Provide 1st Line local and remote IT support.
*Maintaining security
*Providing user training when needed
*Ensure all PCs and connected devices are connected and accessible.
*Communicating with stakeholders
Who I am looking for:
*Previous experience in a 1st line IT support role.
*Communication and customer service skills.
*Knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Windows 10, Server 2008, 2012R2, 2019+, Office365.
*Knowledge of Group Policy, DHCP and DNS.
*Understanding of network technologies VLAN, IP routing.
*Understanding of SIP/IP telephony systems.
*Knowledge of anti-virus suites and backup technology.
