My client, a global leader within the FMCG industry, is looking for a motivated Focus Technician to join a Cell Team within the business. This role involves the assessment, development of PM systems and line performance at a fast-paced manufacturing site. Role Description

Owns the Planned Maintenance process for the line. This includes deployment, execution, reporting the KPI for meetings and continuous improvement of the process and standards.
Owns the Planned Maintenance standards, incl. technical documentation. Continuously drives improvement of the PM standards.
Owns the planning process for the line.
Owns and facilitates the weekly PM and Tags planning meeting.
Liaise with the maintenance planner to procure parts and supports the maintenance planning with updating the spare parts inventory policies.
Owns the Breakdown Elimination process for the line. This includes deployment, execution, reporting the KPI for meetings and continuous improvement of the process.
Leads the Breakdown Elimination Process

Focusing on building technical capability in operators. Also coaching operators and engineers on processes
Support the development and execution of distinct areas of the 90-day plan and weekly / monthly plans

Supports and leads problem solving sessions.

Skills and Qualifications

Computer literacy
Effective communicator & strong team member
Apprentice trained in a relevant Engineering discipline.
Minimum of NVQ level 3 in Mechanical / Electrical engineering or equivalent. Multi skilled preferred (or working towards)
