A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Head of Engineering & Operations to join a leading manufacturing organisation based in Gloucester.
This is a dynamic, high‑impact role where no two days are the same. You’ll play a key part in driving operational excellence, leading engineering strategy, and supporting the continued growth of a well‑established, forward‑thinking manufacturer. Role & Responsibilities
- Lead engineering and operational functions to ensure efficient day‑to‑day performance
- Oversee project delivery, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
- Drive process improvements, KPI performance, and operational excellence
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and commercial decision‑making
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, engineering standards, and ISO requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Proven leadership experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Strong mechanical engineering knowledge and project management expertise
- Solid financial and commercial acumen
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder‑management skills
- Analytical, resilient, and solutions‑focused approach with IOSH or equivalent
