This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast‑moving, innovation‑driven engineering organisation that is expanding its manufactruing capability. The business is deeply committed to continuous improvement – of its technology, its processes, and its people – and is now looking for an experienced Head of Sales to help drive business growth across new business and existing accounts.

In this role, you’ll work at the forefront of the business, contributing directly to sales pipeline and playing a key role in winning new business, developing existing accounts and developing distribution networks. It’s an ideal position for a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys developing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities and working closely with technical and operational teams to deliver tailored solutions and drive business growth.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Manage and grow a portfolio of existing accounts within the, process and energy sectors, maximising revenue opportunities and customer engagement.
Drive new business development through solution-based sales, identifying and securing new customers across the UK and international markets.
Build, develop and maintain strong distribution networks to support business growth and market penetration.
Deliver technical and commercial sales solutions tailored to customer requirements, ensuring long-term partnership development.
Operate from a UK-based location with approximately 50% travel required across the UK and internationally to support customers, distributors and business growth initiatives.

Requirements

Based anywhere within the UK, with regular travel required across the UK and internationally to support customers, distributors and business development activities.
Proven experience within process or energy sectors, with a strong understanding of industrial sales environments.
Background selling engineered products, ideally electronic or electromechanical solutions, to technical and commercial stakeholders.
Approximately 10-15 years of successful sales experience, demonstrating consistent achievement of growth and revenue targets.
Strong track record in winning new business while effectively managing and developing existing customer accounts to maximise long-term value.
