My client, a leading manufacturer in the Rhondda Valley, is looking to take on a Head of Sales. Under new directorship, this company is undertaking cultural change to drive the business forward, with a new emphasis on continuous improvement. This company works with household names providing a high level, end to end, bespoke service. This role would suit an ambitious Sales Manager looking to make a positive impact on a successful business.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Monitoring the performance of the sales teams by setting and reviewing goals and identifying training and coaching needs.
Devising and implementing systems to keep staff motivated and maintain a high performing culture in alignment with the values of the business .
Recruiting and training sales staff and ensuring the department is appropriately resources to deal with fluctuations in sales volumes.
Researching, analysing and setting price points to maximise sales and maintain healthy profit margins.
Identifying opportunities by keeping track of competitive activity.
Using industry knowledge to identify potential new markets and increase the market share.
Maintaining sales records and design reports to ensure that the data collected is being utilised effectively.
Creating sales campaigns including call centre- email scripts and email blasts.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Experience in a sales management role, ideally coming up a sales representative route
Experience in the manufacturing industry – ideally construction or glass production
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration
