A global manufacturer is looking for a Junior Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Whether you’re at the beginning of your maintenance engineering career, or you’ve completed an engineering apprenticeship and want to pivot into Multi‑Skilled Maintenance, this is a fantastic opportunity.

You’ll receive structured support to develop your reactive and proactive engineering skills on a 24/7 production site, helping to minimise downtime and contribute to continuous improvement. This role is ideal for someone driven, hands‑on and eager to build a long‑term career in maintenance engineering.

Role Description

• Electrical and mechanical PPM, reactive and breakdown maintenance

• Working as part of a skilled engineering team

• Reporting into the Maintenance Manager

• Maintenance on fast‑paced production lines in a high‑volume environment

• Supporting kaizen and continuous improvement projects

• Assisting with machine installations

• Extensive internal and external training and development opportunities

• Adhering to Health & Safety procedures at all times

Skills and Qualifications

• Time‑served apprenticeship in a general engineering discipline (mechanical or electrical)

• Basic fault‑finding ability with a willingness to develop further

• Motivated to work in a team environment with strong training and development support

• Understanding of electrical and mechanical systems and core engineering principles

• A drive to work in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment
