This a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to step into a well rounded role within a rapidly growing organisation. Roles and Responsibilities:

Lead New Product Development activities.
Identifying new product development markets and developing a robust product roadmap.
Support legacy product improvements and provide technical guidance in support of ongoing production activities.
Project Management of new and existing product development through to fruition.
Supporting Technical Sales activities by providing input during the formation of quotations and providing technical training for new salespeople/partners/distributors.
The creation and management of mechanical drawings on Solidworks.
Testing and analysing products.
Prototype builds.

Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Engineering or a related field.
5+ years of experience within product and mechanical design.
Experience in Electro Mechanical Engineering would be ideal.
Strong 3D modelling experience (preferably Solidworks).
Strong understanding of DFM & DFA principles.
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues with electronic products.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Ability to create tolerance drawings and assembly instructions.
