Maintenance Engineer – 3 Months Fixed Term Contract – Gloucester
£30,000 – Monday to Friday – 25 Days Holiday + BH – Opportunity for permanent
We are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Engineer for one of our clients around Gloucester.
This company are a well established manufacturer, and an industry leader in what they do supplying into some of the largest aviation companies across the UK.
This is a 3 months fixed term position, with potential to be a permanent position after depending on the candidate. They are looking for someone who is an experienced Maintenance Engineer within aerospace industries, and experience with maintenance audits and AS9100.

Role & Responsibilities:
- Improving maintenance across the site.
- Putting in maintenance plans and schedules in place.
- Heavily involved in applying AS9100 standards.
- Installation and project work.
- Adhering to all health and safety policies.
- Primarily mechanical maintenance on a broad range of production machinery.
- 50% reactive maintenance, 50% planned preventative maintenance.
- Completing all maintenance documentation.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
- Mechanical engineering qualification / apprenticeship trained.
- Experience within Aerospace / AS9100.
- Ideally 18th edition (not essential)
- Manufacturing industry experience.
- Able to start immediately.
