A long‑established manufacturer is looking for an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer to support the maintenance and performance of machinery across a busy production site.

If you enjoy fast‑paced environments, varied engineering challenges and keeping equipment running at its best, this role will suit you well.

Role & Responsibilities:

Planned and reactive maintenance to keep production equipment running smoothly
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults quickly to minimise downtime
Identify improvement opportunities and help strengthen preventative maintenance routines
Coordinate with production teams to plan service work and machine downtime
Support new machinery installations and ensure all work meets safety standards

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or production setting
Recognised electrical qualification (City & Guilds, NVQ Level 3, HNC/ONC, 18th Edition)
Strong electrical skills with solid mechanical capability
PLC fault‑finding experience and strong communication skills across all levels
