This site has a great culture, with brilliant staff retentions numbers and due to an up and coming retirement they are looking for an electrically biased maintenance engineer.

As an Electrical Biased Maintenance Engineer your role & responsibilities will be:

Part of a small close knit team of X4 engineers
Carry out planned maintenance, reactive fault finding, breakdowns, CI projects
Electrical & mechanical fault finding & repairs
Working on various industrial processing equipment, food production machinery, packaging machinery, conveyors, instrumentation, automation & controls
Ordering spares & parts, via CMMS, contractor control – RAMS, Permits to Work
PLC’s, HMi’s, DCS & SCADA Systems – electrical fault finding

Knowledge, skills & experience required for an Electrical Biased Maintenance Engineer:

Must have completed a time-served apprenticeship
NVQ Level 3 Electrical Engineering as minimum
Happy working 1 in 4 Weekends (Saturday & Sunday) on-call-rota
Must have worked in manufacturing previously
Electrical & mechanical fault finding & problem solving skills
Comfortable working unsupervised on night shift
PLC, HMi, SCADA Systems – electrical fault finding capabilities
Able to use CMMS to order own spares & parts
Familiar with instrumentation – beneficial
