Our client is an established food manufacturer, part of a larger global group, with multiple sites worldwide. Due to growth & CI Projects at the site, they are looking for an 2 new maintenance engineers to join their processing & manufacturing team.

Role & Responsibilities:

Carry out planned, reactive maintenance and safety checks on all industrial process & production equipment, conveyors, mixers, bucket elevators, belts, chains, rotating equipment, PLC’s
Electrical & mechanical fault finding, repairs, stripdowns & overhauls
Working on motors, pumps, compressors, valves, gearboxes, drives, bearings, shafts, actuators, hydraulics, pneumatics, rotating equipment
Improving plant availability, reliability and continuous improvement work
Monitor contractors on site

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer – either electrical or mechanical biased
HNC or HND qualified, time served apprenticeship
Electrical & mechanical fault finding and problem solving skills
Previously have dealt with industrial processing & equipment and manufacturing systems
Must have worked in an industrial manufacturing sector
Knowledge of electrical safety isolation procedures
Must have worked on motors, pumps, valves, compressors, hydraulics, pneumatics, gearboxes
Experience of using SAP would be beneficial
Advantageous if worked with PLC systems
Any experience of working in an ATEX / CompEX environment would be great
