Monday-Friday: Weekly Changeover 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00

Commutable from – Stockbridge, Southampton, Winchester, Salisbury, Basingstoke

£40,000 – £45,000

Our client is a leading processor bringing together a wide range of established brands across the UK and Europe. The company produces a range of building materials using traditional and modern manufacturing methods. They are looking to bring onboard an additional maintenance fitter to their team.

Role & Responsibilities:

Electrical & mechanical maintenance, PPM’s, and repairs
Working on a variety of production machinery
Part of a close-knit, skilled team that is growing & developing
Start-up and shut down processing plan, equipment and facilities
Carry out safety tests

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Be comfortable with working on mechanical or electrical problems and faults within a heavy manufacturing environment
Ideally have experience working on motors, conveyers, gears, hydraulics and pneumatics
Able to read and understand technical drawings
Able to competently weld and grind.
Team player able to do ad hoc tasks when necessary
