Our client is an industrial processing business. They are looking for a proactive and driven hands-on maintenance to lead & develop their engineering team.

Role & Responsibilities:

Be a hands-on manager, leading from the front
Managing a team of X5 people
Provide engineers with training & development plans
PPM planning, strategic workload allocation, project management
Creating SSoW, RAMS, RTW’s, continuous improvement plans
Monitor and manage KPi’s, budget targets, engineering compliance, health & safety
Staff performance reviews, disciplinaries, appraisals, holiday management, sickness

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Must be a maintenance engineer with mechanical and electrical experience
Happy to be a hands-on manager
Qualified to HNC / HND level ideally
Must have worked in some form of high-speed/volume manufacturing environment
Knowledge of Health & Safety, continuous improvements, KPi performance management
Experienced in creating SSoW (Safe Systems of Work), new procedures, SOP’s
Financial control & budget monitoring experience
Beneficial to have IOSH / NEBOSH Health & Safety
Strong and effective communicator
