Our client is a leading global manufacturer in the building products manufacturing industry. They are currently recruiting for a mechanical fitter to oversee all maintenance activities on site.

Role & Responsibilities:

Managing contractors
Mechanical fault-finding and repairs
Repairs on Hydraulics and Pneumatics
Maintaining plant equipment such as conveyors, gearboxes and motors
Ensure all maintenance plans and documentation is up to date
Ensure health & Safety standards are met at all times.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Must have at least 3 years experience as a Mechanical Fitter
Engineering apprenticeship or similar engineering qualification
Knowledge of maintenance scheduling
Strong mechanical fault finding & servicing skills
Good hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge
Good time management, problem solving skills and attention to detail
