£36k – £41k (Depending on Experience) + Overtime.

39 hours per week

Core Hours are Monday to Friday – 8am to 5 pm (Lunchtime Finish on a Friday!)

We’re looking for an experienced, ambitious, and motivated Mechanical Fitter to join a highly successful supplier of bespoke Mechanical machinery.

Primarily a site-based role within Cradley Heath, but will involve regular travel around the UK and very occasionally overseas to support a wide and expanding client base!

What you’ll be doing

Assembling precision engineered components of large machinery, working from technical drawings.
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to bring big projects through to successful completion!
Installing, servicing, repairing, and testing bespoke industrial machinery both on site and throughout the U.K.
Representing our clients’ customers in the absolute best light!

What you’ll need

Solid experience in a Mechanical Production environment, assembling large and intricate machinery.
Fitting motors, gearboxes, drive shafts and other mechanical component parts
The ability to read and apply technical and pneumatic drawings.
Installing, commissioning, and testing sizeable machinery
Time-served apprenticeship or engineering experience – A Must!
An industry recognized engineering qualification (NVQ / C&G) – Highly Desirable!
