Mon-Thurs (7am-4pm) / Fri (7am-12pm)

£24,000-£30,000 + O/T (1.5x / 2x Sun) + Pension + 33 Days Holiday

Owing to a fantastic order book, a Market leading engineering company has an urgent requirement for multiple Mechanical Fitters to join their team. Working from their assembly facility based in Wolverhampton, this opportunity offers the chance to be involved in all aspects of mechanical assembly and fitting in their fast paced production environment. With progressive training and development these roles allow promotion in the longer term, whilst being supported by a friendly and welcoming team of skilled fitters.

Role Description

Fitting together of mechanical components.
Installing mechanical systems to heavy equipment.
Basic welding.
Fitting of hydraulic systems.
Reading and interpreting mechanical engineering drawings.
Reporting in to a team leader.

Skills and Qualifications

Mechanical fitting experience from any engineering industry.
Ability to read engineering drawings.
Basic welding experience (desirable).
Ability to work within a close knit engineering team.
Self-motivated and able to use initiative in prioritising tasks.
