This company is one of the leading employers in the local area. They have recently invested significantly in their site and created a number of new positions. They are looking for experienced Mechanical maintenance technicians to maintain and service critical production machinery. This role would be ideal for someone who wants to join thriving business where they can develop and progress long term. They have multiple positions live, some working days, others working shift patterns to cater for candidates needs.

Role & Responsibilities:

Fault find, repair and service a wide variety of Mechanical systems, machinery and equipment
Maintain and improve equipment and machinery
The role will be a mix of breakdown response, PPM work, improvements, upgrades and project work
Wide variety of equipment on site including conveyor systems, bearings, gearboxes, engines, shafts, hydraulics, pneumatics, valves

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering (Minimum NVQ Level 3)
Excellent health and safety knowledge and understanding
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
Proactive mindset and willingness to learn and develop further

Benefits Package:

£34,000 – £36,000
