Weekend Shift (Week 1 – Fri, Sat, Sun on Nights / Week 2 – Sat, Sun on Days)

£42,500 – 25 days holiday equivalent, Excellent Pension, Overtime, Life Assurance, Bonus Scheme, Benefits Package

My client, a global business is looking for an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to bolster their weekend engineering team in Manchester. This opportunity offers excellent scope and long-term technical challenge at a progressive business. Role Description

PPM & Reactive Maintenance on site machinery during weekend shift
Involved in Engineering Project Work – assisting with continuous improvement
Working with a variety of production equipment in a fast-paced environment
Proactively identify and implement improvements to operational machine and resource efficiencies
To contribute to TPM activities as they relate to own area of responsibility or kaizen projects working cross functionally
Working on specific industrial machinery
Machine installations
Working in a small team of three engineers reporting to a Maintenance Supervisor

Skills and Qualifications

Time Served Apprenticeship Trained Electrical Maintenance experience
Strong Background within Food/FMCG manufacturing
Knowledge of electrical systems, PLC’s, motors, wiring
Must be able to work independently and part of a small engineering team
