Our client in St Albans is an abattoir looking to recruit a multiskilled engineer for a monday-friday days position. The company are willing to train and develop candidates from a variety of backgrounds, as long as you have the right attitude and some engineering experience and knowledge.

Role & Responsibilities:

Carry out PPMs and reactive Maintenance to machinery
Fault find on electrical and mechancial components
Fault find on PLC systems
Adhere to Health and Safety Regulations
Be flexible regarding hours and overtime

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Be a multi-skilled maintenance engineer – either electrical or mechanical biased
Must have some hands-on engineering experience
Ideally have worked in a food manufacturing – but open to engineers from different industries
Comfortable with working in an abattoir environment- which can be dirty and smelly
A flexible attitude which is reciprocated by the team
