Our Client

Our client a is seeking a multiskilled maintenance engineer to join their established and highly skilled engineering team. Here, maintenance engineering skill genuinely matters – this is a fast‑paced production, high automation environment, where minimizing downtime is key.

What you’ll be doing

As a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be supporting an automated FMCG & packaging site that runs at pace. You’ll be trusted to work independently, think laterally, and keep the lines running smoothly.

PPM & Reactive Maintenance – ensuring equipment reliability and rapid response to breakdowns
Root Cause Analysis & continuous improvement initiatives
Working across 3‑phase motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and general electrical maintenance

What You’ll Need

Strong electrical competence (17th or 18th Edition)
Confident with PLC fault‑finding
Experience in FMCG, packaging, or another fast‑paced automated environment
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
Ability to work independently
A mindset geared toward improvement, reliability, and ownership
