Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer – FMCG

Double Days on weekly rotation – 0600 – 1400 / 1400 – 2200 (no nights!).

The Role

Our client is a Telford-based & UK-leading supplier of FMCG products supplying into retail, wholesale and commercial sectors. They are looking for a multiskilled mainteance engineer to join their skilled maintenance team on the double-day shift pattern. The role offers excellent technical development, a fast-paced and meticulous working environment and highly competitive salary.

What you’ll be doing

PPM and Reactive Maintenance on a wide range of mechanical and electrical machinery and equipment
Single and Three-Phase wiring
Facilities Maintenance rectification and improvement work
Ensuring a timely-handover between shifts
Improving the performance and longevity of machinery and equipment
Upholding the highest levels of Health and Safety standards
Provide Technical Support to Production Departments
Record, manage and cost spare parts and feedback to Finance

What you’ll need

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
18^thEdition
Automation & PLC Fault-finding experience
Facilities Maintenance
3 years plus experience of working in FMCG environment or similar
IOSH Certificate.

Self-motivated and proactive
A team-player – able to support a close-knit maintenance team
Able to work independently as/when required
Confident in servicing and repairing a wide array of machinery, equipment and facility entities
