This market leading FMCG manufacturer has established a reputation for excellence within their field. Supplying products to some of the UK’s leading companies, they have experienced strong recent success and now looking to add to their successful maintenance team. They are currently looking to recruit a multiskilled maintenance engineer to play a key role within their highly skilled maintenance team. This position is a shift role.

Role & Responsibilities:

-Undertake Planned Maintenance schedules and machine breakdown repairs
-Utilise the maintenance software package to record engineering data
-Undertake repairs to general site, buildings and supporting plant
-Work closely with the Production department to improve up time, reliability and efficiencies
-Undertake installation work for new products, processes and equipment
-Assist the Shift Supervisor in providing information for technical and incident reports
-Provide holiday and sickness cover for shift colleagues

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

-The jobholder will ideally be a time-served apprentice, with a minimum of HNC engineering qualification, or relevant experience.
-Comprehensive knowledge of mechanical and basic electrical engineering, as well as manufacturing processes
-Knowledge of Food Safety & Hygiene Requirements
