PHP Developer

PHP Web Developer (PHP, basic, Laravel, Symfony or Twig, MySQL or Maria DB) – UK Remote – 25k to 35k

My client is looking for a PHP developer to join their growing team. They are a B2C ecommerce client based in the South of the UK. The role is remote.

Due to commercial success leading to growth and an increase in workload they need a PHP developer to join their team. The successful candidate will have commercial experience in PHP. You will be someone that is looking to advance your skillset in a supportive and nurturing environment that will move at the pace of your growing competencies. please apply if this describes you.

Roles and responsibilities:
*Supporting other developers
*Taking on and building new features
*Looking after ticket / bug queue
*Liaise with requesters regarding new features
*Mentor more junior developers
*Code new projects
*Collaborate with your team
*May be required to work on front end on occasion

Skills and experience:
*Demonstrable experience in PHP projects
*HTML, CSS, JavaScript
*Investigating and fixing bugs
*Version control experience with Git
*MySQL or MariaDB

Desirable experience (not essential):
*Laravel, Symfony or Twig
*MySQL / MariaDB,
*Linux command line
*SEO understanding
*JIRA
*Version Control experience with Git
*OWASP knowledge of security protocols
*Ecommerce experience
