A great opportunity has just become available with our client based in Gillingham, Dorset. The company are well established and steadily growing, having been in operation for 50+ years, boasting an impressive portfolio of customers across various sectors. You will form a crucial part of a small but talented design department, you will be managing projects from concept to completion – all design work will be completed using Solidworks – Big opportunities to progress with this company!

Core responsibilites:

Develop new products from concept to production using 3D CAD and detailed drawings.
Produce accurate BOMs and support full lifecycle coordination across teams.
Develop and produce prototype samples.
Work closely with other departments, such as the Metal shop.
Adhere to Quality control guidelines.
Support bespoke builds and ensure compliance with quality and ISO standards.

What we are looking for:

Degree or HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or Similar
Proven experience within a Mechanical Design team.
Experienced with 3d CAD Modelling softwares such as Solidworks.
Capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously.
