Join a globally recognised manufacturing business as a Production Supervisor on an 18‑month fixed‑term contract. Roles and Responsibilities:

Lead and support Team Leaders and Production Operators – keeping communication open on the shop floor, running briefings, and promoting a strong safety and quality culture.
Make sure the daily production plan is met by organising labour, equipment, and materials and adjusting staffing where needed.
Handle day‑to‑day people management, including training, performance discussions, recruiting support, and dealing with issues fairly and promptly.
Take ownership of health, safety and environment standards, investigating incidents, updating systems, completing risk assessments, and driving safer ways of working.
Use lean tools to improve processes, support preventative maintenance activities, manage time‑and‑attendance, and build good relationships with union reps.

Requirements

Manufacturing background – the role is better suited to someone coming from an engineering industry.
Experience dealing with unions would be beneficial.
Experienced with people management and overseeing teams of 30.
Strong understanding of HSE requirements.
