Due to an increase in demand of this fast-growing chemicals business, they are now recruiting for a Project Draughtsperson to join their team in the Wirral Area on a days-based position.
This role offers the opportunity to work for a rapidly growing company, aiming to become a market leader within the chemicals industry over the coming year. With a very large scope in progression of this position, and shares available in the company, a growth-mindset individual would be the perfect fit, to provide them with a technical challenge and vast opportunities to develop.
- Creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD software. Developing accurate schematics, blueprints, and layouts based on technical specifications. Ensuring that all drawings adhere to industry standards and company guidelines.
- Working with design engineers and project managers to understand project objectives and collaborate on requirements.
- Setting up and managing project documentation, including bills of materials, technical reports, and project manuals.
- Reviewing and revising drawings and documentation as necessary throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communicating effectively with cross-functional teams to address any discrepancies or changes in project requirements.
- Contributing to continuous improvement efforts related to drafting and documentation processes.
Skills and Qualifications
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and a strong understanding of drafting techniques.
- 3+ years AutoCAD / Autodesk Inventor or similar systems.
- Previous experience as an Engineering Draftsman or similar role.
- A good understanding of technical drawing standards and principles along with a detail-oriented mindset with a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality work.
- Manufacturing/Engineering Background
