Are you a mechanically biased engineer with a passion for delivering complex projects and driving continuous improvement?

We’re looking for an Project Engineer to join our client’s high-performing team, taking ownership of engineering projects from design through to delivery. Reporting to the Engineering Director, this is a key role supporting the business with equipment maintenance, process improvements, and innovation across the site.

Key Responsibilities

Manage engineering projects end-to-end, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulations
Create detailed technical designs, specifications and documentation using SolidWorks and AutoCAD
Support troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment and identify solutions to technical issues
Recommend and implement process improvements across the site
Maintain and update technical records, drawings and project documentation
Stay current with industry technologies and introduce new materials or methods where beneficial

Key Skills

Degree in Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited university or college
Minimum 5 years’ engineering experience in a manufacturing environment
Proficiency with CAD software, including SolidWorks and AutoCAD
Strong understanding of electrical controls (e.g. PLCs, pneumatics, AC/DC drives)
Proven ability in problem-solving using 8D, FMEA, or similar techniques
Strong IT skills (Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project)
Clear communicator with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Flexible, detail-oriented and confident working under pressure
