Hours: Monday to Friday – flexible start and finish times

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business that supplies high-quality, precision-engineered products to a diverse customer base across multiple industrial sectors.

The Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead quality control activities across a busy manufacturing operation. Reporting directly to senior leadership, you will play a key role in driving quality improvements, reducing waste and customer returns, and ensuring products consistently meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement quality control procedures, policies and standards
Lead, mentor and develop the Quality Control team
Conduct product and process inspections and audits
Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions
Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Senior Leadership teams to resolve quality concerns
Monitor manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Analyse quality performance data and report on key metrics
Drive initiatives aimed at reducing waste, defects, and customer returns

Requirements

Strong Quality Control management experience within a heavy manufacturing environment
Extensive knowledge of complex manufacturing processes
Experience leading and developing quality teams
Strong problem-solving, auditing, and continuous improvement skills
Ability to influence and engage stakeholders across all levels of the business

Desirable

Qualified Auditor
Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification
