This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Quality Assurance professional to join a leading player in its field in the Bridgwater area. You will be managing the QA side of the business and enjoy a varied role, the company values internal progression so will encourage development, meaning you can build a long term career.

The role:

Support Continuous Improvement initiatives across the team.
Manage the Quality Assurance processes.
Oversee internal and external audits – working closely with the assigned consultant.
Manage all customer complaints and non conformances.
Responsible for monitoring internal quality KPI’s.
Perform and manage inspection, calibration and FAIR activities.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards.

What we are looking for:

Previous experience working within the quality department for a manufacturing company.
Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and AS9100,
Experience working with automotive and aerospace customers.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings.
Ability to manage quality systems
