Our client is a leading design and manufacturer of LED products supplying to a number of different sectors. They are looking for a hands-on Quality Inspector with experience using handheld tools, documenting, and ensuring high quality products. The successful candidate will be subjected to great training and the ability to learn new skills.

Role & Responsibilities:

Hands-on Quality Inspector role
Inspecting machined metal (mostly aluminum) and plastic components
Using handheld tools- Calipers, verniers, gauges etc.
Visual inspections
Goods In first article inspections (AS9100), through to finished assembled products
Internal calibration of measuring equipment and documenting
Working to AS9100 and IS09001 quality standards
Marking up drawings
FAIR reports
Helping with monitoring training of staff

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Experienced measuring with handheld tools
Complying to quality standards
CAD experience
IT Literate
