With Operations across the Globe and with an ever expanding customer base, this prestigious manufacturer are planning the next part of their recruitment push, following their recent investment they are looking for a SAP Controller to lead from the front within the Procurement / Finance team. The company has multiple sites within the organisation and offers opportunity to any employee to train both internally and externally to develop your skills, the role also comes with opportunities to progress up the ladder within the organisation and progress your career.

Role & Responsibilities:

Creation of material masters on SAP (item creation);
Periodic master data mass changes and the creation of characteristics and dependencies where necessary.
Maintenance of the data tables.
Maintenance of the routings and bills of material.
Creation and maintenance of special instructions documents, including the upkeep of the document listing.
Maintenance of SAP documentation (Word document);
Creation of info-records and source list for sub-contractors.
Correction of wrongly made declarations from production orders.
Work with SAP Coordinator to develop understanding of full SAP functionality.
Plus, additional ad-hoc responsibilities, e.g., Sample planning.
Items are raised within 24 hours of request.
Knowledge of new products or product changes is kept up to date.
Master data changes are made accurately and in a timely manner.
Data tables are maintained accurately.
Routings are entered accurately, so that there are no delays in planning.
Bills of material are entered accurately, so that costs are correctly recorded.
Special instructions are accurately created and maintained in a timely manner.
Special instructions document listing is up to date at all times;
SAP documentation (Word document) is accurately and concisely maintained in a timely manner.
Production order declaration discrepancies are corrected daily;
Knowledge of SAP functionality is enhanced through working with SAP Coordinator.
Ad-hoc responsibilities:
Orders are accurately entered onto sample database.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

Experience working as a SAP or MRP Controller within a manufacturing business.
SAP preferred or other manufacturing ERP / MRP system experience – the business are rolling out a new SAP program next year – experience with SAP will help with that.
Knowledge of the production process, quality and hygiene systems.
PC/IT & SAP skills
Understanding of the basic principles of MRP.
Understanding of SAP and the integration of production master data with the other modules
