Our client is a leading researcher in an innovative industry supplying into a variety of different sectors. The company operate via innovative methods, they are looking for an Senior Design Engineer.

Role & Responsibilities:

Development of mechanical design solutions in a multi-disciplinary

Environment.

producing 2D and 3D designs for issue to Production Engineering.
Carrying out load calculations to determine stresses, informing material types, as well as considering requirements for instrumentation and pressure plotting.
Assign Drawing Numbers (D Numbers) and Assembly Numbers (A Numbers) to
parts within scope of allocated work, using 4C software.
Be the technical lead for projects.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

A 2.1 or above in a relevant Mechanical Engineering discipline or HND or equivalent in technical discipline.
Knowledge of relevant software packages preferably Catia, Isight, Matlab, Abacus, other FEA.
UK Citizen
Knowledge of design for manufacture.
