This is a great opportunity to join an industry leading company in Bristol. You will join in a senior position and manage design projects from concepts to completion using SolidWorks.

The company have a global presence and customers across multiple sectors so the type of projects you will work on is varied, in terms of complexity and value!

The Role:

Manage a range of design projects from concept to completeion, using Solidworks.
Produce parts lists, assembly drawings and detail drawings.
Be aware of cost targets in design, purchasing, and assembly.
Carry out risk assessments on machinery and assemblies of machinery.

What we are looking for:

Degree educated in Mechanical Engineering or relevant experience.
Minimum 5 years experience within Mechanical design.
Strong user of Solidworks – with sheet metal design experience being an advantage
Read and produce 2d production drawings.
Perform engineering calculations and analysis.
