Roles and Responsibilities:

Take ownership of new or modified parts from initial design or customer drawings through to full production release, ensuring a smooth handover into manufacturing.
Assess feasibility at an early stage, identifying potential manufacturability issues while defining materials, tooling, fixtures, and process requirements.
Create and maintain all technical documentation, including drawings, BOMs, specifications, and engineering records, while supporting the design and validation of tooling solutions.
Lead first-off trials and ISIR submissions, support production launch activities, and manage engineering changes to ensure quality and compliance throughout.

Requirements

Timeserved
Experience as a Development/Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineer.
Good to Excellent CAD skills ideally on Solidworks
Ability to interpret technical drawings.
Understanding of manufacturing processes.
Experience producing engineering documentation.
Shop floor machine usage and knowledge is desirable
