What You’ll Be Doing

As a Trainee Recruitment Consultant, you’ll learn how to run your own 360° recruitment desk – building relationships, winning business and matching talented candidates with brilliant clients.

You’ll receive full training from day one and will quickly take on responsibilities such as:

Business Development

Prospecting new clients via phone, email, social media & meetings
Promoting Hunter Selection’s services and unique selling points
Negotiating commercial terms

Client & Candidate Management

Taking detailed vacancy briefs
Building long‑lasting client partnerships
Advertising roles, sourcing talent and using our tools, databases & networks
Interviewing and assessing candidates
Managing interviews, feedback and the offer process
Ensuring smooth communication until placement

Organisation & Quality

Following structured processes to ensure high-quality service
Maintaining accurate records and using internal systems effectively
Upholding professional standards across all social media activity

You’ll also have the chance to get involved in internal improvement projects and initiatives as you grow.
